The ECAT was invented by the Italian engineer named Andrea Rossi who has spent his entire professional career in the energy production field.
For many years he was trying various combinations of fuels and reactor geometries until he finally discovered the Rossi Effect – a fuel combination that would yield vast amounts of excess energy for a long duration of time in a controlled fashion.
The design has been refined during the past years as a result of a fruitful cooperation with the distinguished physicist and cold fusion expert, professor emeritus Sergio Focardi of Bologna University. The Rossi Effect has been patented in the US and the IP rights belongs to Leonardo Corporation.
Andrea Rossi currently resides in the United States. See www.andrea-rossi.com for more information on the inventor.
